Complimentary Series 2017 – ‘Why is my child struggling in Pre-School?’
DATE AND TIME
The early formative years of a child’s life are crucial for the child’s development. It is common that children attend playgroups as well as preschool to maximise their learning and development. However, for some children, learning may not always occur in these settings and it may present other challenges. In this talk, we explore what these challenges could be and how early intervention can make a difference.
Participants will learn
- What challenges children may face in school
- What steps can be taken by parents to help them
- How early intervention can help improve their readiness for school
- The importance of being in the right placement to support a smooth learning journey
