Learning may not always occur in mainstream settings for children with Autism. Preschoolers with Autism can often have difficulties with social communication issues and lack the skill sets necessary for learning in a group setting. Not being able to cope with the difficulties may result in increased behaviours and present other challenges when in school. Therefore by equipping the child with the pivotal readiness skills, and preparing the child to be able to learn when in a school environment remains key for the child’s success.

This workshop based on Autism Partnership‘s over 40 years of experience in helping children with autism will show how effective early intervention can help maximize the child’s potential and increase the quality of life.
