Teaching Self Help Skills

Self-help skills are critical for independence and autonomy. Basic techniques of forward and backward chaining, prompting and task analysis will all be taught to tackle a myriad of different life skills such as dressing, completing homework, taking a shower, etc.  

Participants Will Learn:

1.What is forward and backward chaining
2.Advantages and disadvantages of these strategies
3.How to apply the principal of learning in teaching self-help skills
4.How to do task analysis of various skills
