Behaviors in children with Autism (ASD) can range from acting out behaviors like tantrums, aggression to self to passive behaviors like engaging in self-stimulation and a lack of response. If they are not understood and managed, the child’s learning and development can be affected.

In this talk, we will:

– Examine the different types of behaviors, how some are learned and identify why they occur

– Share techniques that will proactively address disruptive behaviors to prepare a child to be more ready to learn
